The Hoxton Lloyd Amsterdam City Centre East

Liked this hip new hotel, do recommend. Comfy beds, room was brand-new. An electric kettle and a refrigerator where provided. The location for our purpose was unbeatable and excellent, nearby a tram station. We stayed for 2 nights here, loved Zeeburg district😀

The personnel was amazing and outstanding. Location: the hotel was very close to the city center as well as the tram. Bar Cafe Restaurant Czaar located 1 km away was a nice surprise...

We had an unforgettable time staying at this hotel. The place was stylish and lovely, we enjoyed it. The breakfast had a good choice of selection, the food was brilliant. The staff was amicable can provide additional tips. Schiphol airport was hardly 24 minutes away by car.

The ventilation in my room ran all night was good, despite reporting the issue twice. When I finally requested a room change, the new room had a broken mattress with a big hole, leading to unbearable discomfort. No adequate compensation or solutions were offered, unacceptable for a hotel charging premium rates.

Room cleanliness could really use improvement. It was disappointing that rooms weren't cleaned daily unless requested!!! The Wi-Fi service was unreliable in certain areas!!!

Here's the bottom line

The staff were very good, especially Irena at breakfast. The tram stop nearby made exploring easy, though the hotel is quieter away from the city bustle. Just a fun cafe and grocery across the street!

I had a fantastic stay, loved the cozy atmosphere, exceptional food, and the beautiful decor. I’d definitely pick this place again!

A lovely room with a twist

I was actually surprised by the stylish decor and unique room layout. The complimentary bicycles were a good touch for exploring nearby sights.

I did find the location to be slightly farther from the city center than I had hoped. It was manageable, but I would have preferred to be a bit closer to the main attractions.

Thoughtful touches, including a welcome bottle for my husband's birthday. The bunk bed setup was a hit with the kids, and the daily cleaning kept our room fresh. Dining was a highlight, especially with delicious omelettes from the restaurant. The absence of a toilet brush in the bathroom reminded me of a miss, and while amenities were great, some minor features could use improvement.

I adored the charming decor that felt both modern and cozy. The staff were also particularly thoughtful, accommodating my needs with ease, always appreciated as a senior traveler.

More accessible features for seniors would be beneficial.

The stay was enjoyable, especially with the spacious rooms that offered a nice vibe away from the hustle of the city, while still being accessible via public transport. The area around the hotel was fantastic, with great eateries and bars nearby. The dining options were hearty and delicious. Breakfast service could start earlier as it was a bit inconvenient for our work schedule.

I loved the unique decor and cozy ambiance. The staff was helpful, going above and beyond to assist with any requests. I especially appreciated the well-designed shower in my room. It would be great if there were clearer directions regarding the breakfast options when included in the stay.
